The piece is based on motifs from a blue tablecloth found in the home of artist Elene Akhvlediani. In the 20th century, the blue tablecloth was found in almost every Tbilisi home. Various ornaments were depicted on the indigo block-printed fabric: plants, animals, and symbolic figures.
