The Pomegranates and Boteh mug brings together elements that have graced Georgian ornamentation for centuries.
The Boteh an ancient symbol of eternity and vitality, arrived in the country from Persia via the Silk Road. The pomegranate shares a similar Eastern heritage, a crimson fruit revered across Caucasian, Central Asian, and Western cultures as an emblem of abundance, happiness, and fertility.
Our design gathers these timeless motifs together, continuing a centuries-old dialogue of cultures.
