The Alphabet placemat is dedicated to the distinct nature of the Georgian language.
Language is everything we recognize as our cultural identity: a shared memory shaped across centuries, from our first words to monumental literary epics, that continues to define who we are.
While developing the Alphabet collection, our primary focus was an in-depth exploration of typography and calligraphy. In shaping each letterform, we searched for the unique rhythm and fluid geometry preserved within Georgian script.
For this collection, we created pieces that capture the distinct character of each letter, turning cultural heritage into an integral part of contemporary daily life.
