Our work, In the Vineyard (Venakhshi), presents the rich heritage of Georgian viticulture from a fresh perspective.A Georgian grapevine is never alone in the vineyard. In our design, companion plants are harmoniously intertwined with the vine’s shoots. Across the table setting, you will discover clover, vetch, oats, rose, and peach — plants traditionally grown alongside the vines across various regions of Georgia. In Western Georgia, vines were often trained to climb quince trees, which is why we have woven the quince fruit into the design as well. Alongside the grapes, these botanical companions impart their own subtle flavour notes to Georgian wine. This truly unique biodiversity of the vineyard became the core inspiration for our table design.
