The King Tamar / Erekle II silver pendant brings together two distinct eras of Georgian numismatics into a single double-sided piece. One side features the graphic relief of King Tamar's historical coinage, while the other bears the Bagrationi royal coat of arms from the reign of Erekle II: the crown, scales, and sword.
While developing the design, we studied the historical details of both coins and early Georgian epigraphy. Remaining faithful to these artifacts, we created an accessory that translates the legacy of Georgian monarchs into everyday life through contemporary form.
