This design is inspired by the Golden Chalice of Bedia, a masterpiece of Georgian repoussé art dating back to 999 AD created during the reign of King Bagrat III. Known for its detailed metalwork and decorative enamel, the chalice remains one of Georgia’s most significant historical objects.
This design adapts the chalice’s geometric lines and ornamental patterns into a textile form. Gold accents and structured motifs create a balanced, refined look that works equally well for everyday dining or formal gatherings, bringing a subtle reference to Georgian heritage to the table.
