The 12th century Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli's epic poem " The Knight in the Panther's Skin" with its valuable ideas has been withstanding the change of times for centuries. The poem became international due to the peculiarities of its artistic language, discussion of humanistic issues and universal individualism of the author. The first printed edition of " The Knight in the Panther's Skin " dates back to 1712, the initiator and commentator of which was Vakhtang VI. Vakhtang VI is considered one of the founders of Rustvelology, the purpose of which is the scientific study of the poem. The study of the poem inspired by ancient and medieval philosophical issues continues to this day.
