The story of the blue tablecloth starts in 17th century Tbilisi, where cotton fabrics were dyed using indigo pigments and embellished with national ornaments - deer, fish, and floral motifs. The blue tablecloth has since become a feature of every table in Tbilisi homes and still remains the first glimpse of Georgian hospitality to this day.
The "Kala" collection is a modern continuation of this tradition. Familiar ornaments form a historical composition on the plates and cups.
