Bluetabla's children's rug "Tsikara" brings a Georgian folk tale to life through beautiful illustrations - a story of inseparable friendship, self-sacrifice and goodness. It is a magical adventure about Tsikara the ox and an orphan boy who set off on a perilous journey to escape a wicked stepmother. The rug depicts how the friends flee to save themselves and how they hold off their pursuer with the help of the tale's key objects - the magic comb, the whetstone and the water. The illustrations follow the story up to the moment when Tsikara rescues the boy, imprisoned on the orders of an evil king, from the dungeon. A special place in this story belongs to the little mouse, whose life Tsikara had earlier spared, saving it from drowning. In return for that kindness, when Tsikara died, the mouse found a way to bring him back to life - proving that loyal friendship and love are stronger than death.
